Ingredients
16 Oreo cookies, crushed
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons matcha
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup milk
4 large eggs
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan.
In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add milk and whisk until just combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the sour cream, flour, sifted matcha powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Dust matcha on top and serve chilled.
Notes
Cheesecake can be kept in a refrigerator for up to a week or freezer for longer-term storage. Make sure to wrap it securely to prevent freezer burn. Thaw frozen cheesecake in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
